ASSA ABLOY RP400 Machine protection door
- Door dimension (mm) max. 4000 x 3500 mm
- Speed open/close: up to max. 2.4/1.3 m/s (2.4/1.7 m/s pre-running photocell, light curtain)

- Door Curtain: Depending on application, various door curtains and colors are available, from partially transparent PVC curtains with colored reinforcement stripes to highly rigid durable material, protect against sparks. Optional anti-UV welding windows that conform to EN 1598 are also available. As option a flame retardant door curtain is available.
- Side frames are made of two aluminium profiles, integrated safety limit switches connect the door with the machine. Window areas allow easy monitoring of integrated safety limit switches.
- Safety limit switches according to EN ISO 13849-1 and EN 62061
- Doors conform to EN ISO 12100 and EN ISO 14119
- Control systems: The door is equipped with a frequency converter control system MCC. Door without a control system is possible. UL-Version as option.
- Space saving extension box allows mounting of interface card or safety monitoring module for safety limit switches.

- The door is designed according to the Workplace Directive of the UVV regulations and the harmonized CE Guidelines including the EN 13241-1 and 2006/42/EG.
Special:
- Short cycle times up to 5 cycles per minute is possible
- Flexible positioning of the gear motor can be mounted on the left or right side of the door. The motor can tilt in 45° increments for easy positioning and installation
- Self-Supporting: the door can be mounted directly to the floor with optional mounting brackets. Leveling screws allow the door to be leveled on uneven surfaces.

Integrated light curtain
Integrated into the door’s side frame is a light curtain that’s capable of sensing and reacting to even the smallest of obstructions. This light curtain covers the full width and height of the doorway, so if anything is detected, the door’s closing movement is stopped immediately and opened to prevent any crashes or injuries
Smooth flat bottom profile, reduced close contact
To further increase safety, the ASSA ABLOY RP400 has a flat bottom profile. Workers can often unintentionally come close to a door’s moving curtain. The flush surface of the flat bottom profile, however, has no protruding edges and little contact area. Thereby reducing the risk of injuries during the door’s upward movement.
Secure and stable installation
All of our machine protection doors have two types of door installation. The door can either be wall mounted or freestanding on the floor and so integration into production lines are possible. For secure freestanding installations, the new ASSA ABLOY RP400 offers a new space saving, highly robust and stable frame construction, meaning less vibrations during machine activity.
Further benefits are an optional flame retardant door curtain as option for increased safety available.
