ASSA ABLOY offers a comprehensive range of panic exit devices designed to provide safe, reliable, and efficient emergency egress for a variety of building types. Their solutions, including the PED 200, PED 300, PED 500, PED 700, and associated outside trims (OT200, OT500), are engineered for durability, versatility, and compliance with international safety standards.
PED 300
The ASSA ABLOY PED 300 is a modular push bar panic exit device with a central locking point, suitable for both fire and smoke applications. It is designed for high durability, tested for up to 200,000 cycles, and can be installed on single or double leaf doors weighing up to 200 kg. The PED 300 accommodates door widths up to 1200 mm as standard, with options for up to 1400 mm. It features a steel pulman latch, dead latch, and a robust aluminium touch bar that can be cut to size. The device is available with optional micro switch and HO function versions, making it adaptable for various security and monitoring needs. Its construction includes a zinc alloy cover and steel or zinc alloy swing latch, ensuring both strength and longevity.
PED 200
The PED 200 is another reliable panic exit device from ASSA ABLOY, designed for secure and efficient emergency exits. Like the PED 300, it features a central locking point and is suitable for a wide range of door types and applications, including fire-rated doors. The PED 200 is often paired with additional modules for enhanced functionality, such as vision panels (PED/GV) or glass lites (PED/GL).
PED 200 + PED/GV and PED 300 + PED/GV
These configurations combine the standard PED 200 or PED 300 panic exit device with a vision panel (PED/GV), allowing for increased visibility and safety in emergency situations. The integration of a vision panel is particularly useful in environments where visual communication or monitoring through the door is important.
PED 200 + PED/GL and PED 300 + PED/GL
The PED/GL variants incorporate a glass lite into the panic exit device assembly, providing additional light transmission and visibility through the door. This is ideal for spaces that require both emergency egress and natural light or visual access between rooms.
PED 500 and PED 700
